The bank adopted "Reaching the Unreached" as its core mission and the punchline in its branding.
The bank's target customer group come from small towns and villages in the operational districts and have very "small" means to support their economic activity.
The Bank accepts small deposits, grants small loans and all this is done at the door step of the customer, saving him/her the precious working time from travelling to the bank. Over the years, the bank has added financing the micro enterprises to its portfolio, slowly moving up in the value chain both size wise and tenor wise. It remains fully committed to its core objective to serve the under-served people in one of the most under-banked regions of the country.
